The Advertising Association represents all sides of the advertising and promotion industry in the UK - advertisers, agencies and the media.
ISBA is a a leading member representing all advertisers. The agency body , the IPA, represents advertising agencies and individual media members complete the tripartite.
The AA promotes and protects advertising; “advertising”, is taken in its broader sense It includes not only traditional advertising but direct marketing, promotional marketing and digital advertising.
The AA speaks for the whole industry on matters where there is clear agreement. In particular they communicate the commercial and consumer benefits that advertising brings and seeks the optimal regulatory environment for our industry.

ISBA Director General is a member of the AA Council and ISBA directors and members play key roles in the industry committees and working groups.
