Executive Committee
The Executive Committee meets 6 times a year and ensures the good management of ISBA and the implementation of policy.
The Executive is appointed by the Director General and approved by the Council from which it takes its powers. The Exec may appoint further committees or sub-committees as it may from time to time think fit.
It meets every other month and is active in helping to develop policy and strategy and in achieving ISBA’s key objectives. Through the Director General, the Executive Committee is also responsible for the administration of ISBA.
The Executive Committee appoints its own Chair (who also serves as Treasurer) and Vice-Chair who are members of the Council.
Each of ISBA’s Action Groups are appointed by the Executive Committee to whom they report.
