ISBA governance
ISBA Council
Comprising the most senior representatives of ISBA member companies, the Council is ISBA's key policy making body. It meets quarterly and delegates the execution of policy and supervision of the administration of the organisation to the Executive Committee, whom it also consults on key issues.
The Council nominates the ISBA President and Vice-Presidents who are elected annually by the members at the Annual General Meeting. Council also appoints the Treasurer, Director General and Company Secretary.

Executive Committee
The Executive is appointed by ISBA's Council from whom it receives its powers. It meets every other month and is active in helping to develop policy and strategy and in achieving ISBA's key objectives. Through the Director General, the Executive Committee is also responsible for the administration of ISBA.
The Executive Committee appoints its own chair, who is a member of Council, as well as its vice-chair. Each of ISBA's Action Groups are appointed by the Executive Committee to whom they report on ongoing matters.
