About membership
There is strength in numbers. With over 400 companies and other organisations in membership, representing around £10 billion of annual marcoms spend, the majority of the UK’s leading advertisers have already recognised the valuable service ISBA provides and the importance of the work we do on their behalf.
ISBA has a dual role: we protect the freedom to advertise responsibly, and we enhance the effectiveness of our members by delivering substantial and tangible commercial benefits including cost savings, guidance and skills training. And as part of our member package we provide industry-unique agency relationships advice through our consultancy and best practice department.
We represent the collective voice of British advertisers in protecting advertising freedoms, fighting the advertiser’s corner on the public issues of the day with regulators, legislators and other decision makers.
ISBA is the advertiser’s champion in media. We understand the media landscape with single-minded focus on the advertiser’s interests within it. We help our members negotiate the increasingly complex media arena, working to ensure optimum conditions and to save them money. We provide guidance on the key issues so that they can challenge their suppliers more effectively.
Our members benefit from our comprehensive real-world skills training programme. All our trainers are experienced practitioners in their fields who are focused on filling the gap between the textbook and the marketplace. We also offer bespoke and in-house training solutions and can provide capability and skills assessments.
Those advertisers who manage their agency partners most effectively get the best results. ISBA’s Consultancy and Best Practice department offers a unique members-only agency advice service where they can access, in complete confidence, guidance on all issues related to marcoms expenditure and agency relationships.
