New ISBA data on what advertisers are paying for online media planning and buying services

Advertisers continue to increase their expenditure in the digital arena – the fastest growing area of marketing spend. But questions on how to benchmark these activities prevail.
In December 2009, to provide some clarity, ISBA conducted a quick-hit survey of members to assess how they are organising online media planning and buying spend and to investigate the levels of commission being paid for agency services. This work builds on a similar survey conducted in 2007.
The findings give some unique insights into the activities of the 54 major advertisers who took part in the research and results are now available to all who participated.
