Marketing procurement has faced a number of challenges in the last few years. In some cases, the challenges have been existential, but marketing procurement professionals have also been grappling with procedural and structural challenges too.
On top of this, pressure on budgets is increasingly severe, and procurement is expected to make sure that their organisation is getting the most bang for their marketing buck. From improving media and production process transparency to seeking new ways of working, and establishing concrete measures of ROI, progressive procurement professionals are looking for ways to innovate and to drive value for the business over and above simply saving money.
ISBA’s Communications Procurement Action Group (COMPAG)
COMPAG - was set up to be the premier group for progressive marketing procurement professionals. The group meets quarterly to share new procurement tools and techniques, enhance best practice, exchange views on agency management practices and learn more about the communications marketplace.
For tailored marcoms procurement advice, or to get involved in COMPAG, please contact Traci Dunne.
