BRUSSELS 13 February 2012: Today the European Forum for Responsible Drinking (EFRD) launched a new web-campaign to further promote responsible marketing practices for alcoholic beverages. The objective is to explain in plain language how EU-wide codes of advertising should be applied in practice.

ISBA welcomed the revised marketing rules published in 2011 to adjust to the growing prevalence of digital media, bringing the high standards in the UK to wider audience. Ian Twinn said ‘ the new website is a really useful tool for marketers in beverage companies and for all in the agency world working with advertisers.’
European Forum for Responsible Drinking (EFRD) members – leading spirits companies – launched a broad campaign aimed at marketers and advertising executives to explain the industry’s vision of responsible marketing on and offline.
