Guy Parker is re-elected as EASA Chairman

ISBA welcomes the re-election of Guy Parker as EASA Chairman
ISBA welcomes the re-election of Guy Parker as Chairman as the European Advertising Standards Alliance (EASA). 

Parker, Chief Executive of UK Advertising Standards Authority, also sees his Vice-Presidents reappointed, Dominic Lyle (EACA), Markus Deutsch (ÖWR) and Treasurer Mathilde Fiquet (FEDMA). 

This will be for a three-year period implementing EASA’s strategic prioritisation and financial planning.

ISBA’s, Director of Public Affairs, Ian Twinn, welcomed the announcement: 

“Guy Parker and his Vice-Presidents are a strong team, supporting the work of EASA. Developing and supporting advertising self-regulation throughout Europe and increasing it globally.

“The next three years propose great opportunities for the ad industries to help shape regulation and competition with regards the Digital Single Market, General Data Protection Regulation and the new EU Alcohol Strategy.

“ISBA is a strong supporter of EASA and will on behalf of UK advertisers be there to support and advise on key issues.”
