ISBA announces appointment of Director of Media and Advertising
ISBA is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Finney as ISBA Director of Media and Advertising following Bob Wootton’s decision leave on his 20th anniversary to pursue a portfolio of interests.
Mike Hughes, ISBA Director General, said:
“I am delighted that ISBA has been able to attract a media professional of Mark Finney’s calibre to lead ISBA’s media activities on behalf of British advertisers.
“Mark brings a wealth of experience as a media communications strategist, with a clear passion for media matters, particularly in the online domain. His career to date has spanned both the agency and client side, having worked with significant advertisers including Orange, HSBC and Mastercard among others.
“Advertisers continue to face media challenges, whether in the more traditional media or the online space, including transparency, ad fraud, brand safety, ad blocking, viewability and the challenge of data ownership and the complex EU legislation ruling it. The discussions on the future of the BBC and C4 impact on advertisers as will the planned revision of the EU law on Audio-visual Media Services.
“I am confident that Mark will build on Bob Wootton’s excellent work in leading ISBA’s media agenda, helping members to address the issues arising from an increasing rate of change in the media landscape.”
