Influencer Marketing: an easy win, or ripe with fraud?

At last month's Cannes Festival, the social influencer ecosystem was put firmly under the microscope, with leading marketers, including Keith Weed, calling for 'urgent action' to tackle fraud and rebuild trust.

Alongside the headlines, ISBA research suggests that many marketers do not yet feel fully confident in the management of influencer marketing activities.

INFLUENCER MONTH
ISBA has been tracking trends and advising on influencer marketing for over two years and created the first ever contract for working with social talent in 2016. However, given recent developments, we are dedicating July to the issue, with a series of updates, guidance and events scheduled throughout the month, all packed with best practice tips to make the most of the influencer opportunity and culminating in our 'Understanding Influencers' event on 25 July.
