Following the publication of the DCMS Report on Disinformation and Fake News we have issued the following statement'
"ISBA welcomes today’s report. In particular we support calls for the creation of an independent oversight body funded by the platforms, as this is something we have been calling for over the last year. Furthermore, we welcome their support for the need to define digital campaigning and what constitutes online political advertising and reassert our call for electoral law to be updated in order to be fit for the modern age."
