ISBA is currently recruiting for a content manager. Full details of the role and responsibilities can be found below.
Role and Responsibility
- This role is positioned within the Communications team
- The Content Manager reports to the Director of Communications and is responsible for the creation and communication of content across all the ISBA owned channels.
- In addition they will be responsible for all forms of member communication and assist on the creation of content for external communications.
- They will work with the Director of communications to ensure communications activity is evaluated and monitored effectively.
Key Tasks
Content
- Work with the Director of Communications to develop a master content plan and
ensure it is maintained - Write and publish engaging content across a range of channels
- Support the Director of Communications with media engagement
- Create content for press and broadcast
- Oversee the creation of non-written forms of content ie video, design and imagery
- Stay up-to-date with relevant news and make recommendations on new content
opportunities - Champion tone of voice across ISBA
- Create content for the ISBA website and ensure content is SEO optimised
- Maintain and update news, blogs and video libraries on ISBA website.
- Act as a guardian for all content on ISBA website.
- Edit, proofread and improve other writers posts i.e. blogs
- Manage ISBA social media channels including Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Use content management systems to analyse website traffic and users engagement
metrics - Use analytics and monitoring to evaluate the impact of communications including
social channels
Member Comms
Develop and maintain a content calendar for member communications which
dovetails with the master comms plan
Proactively create content for member communications which might include:
- Promoting ISBA services e.g. pitching advice, legal helplines, and; recycling
relevant non-ISBA produced material. - Send out member comms related to news, issue related briefing sessions and
networking events - Send out follow up member comms after events, seminars etc.
- Create and implement any other member comms if required
The ideal candidate will be familiar with the following programmes:
- Zoho CMS (or another similar programme and be able to adapt)
- Zoho Campaign (as above)
- Adobe creative suite illustrator, In Design and Photoshop
