Hundreds of marketers attended the President's Lunch at the glittering Sheraton Grand London Park Lane on Tuesday 5 July. Highlights of the event included outgoing ISBA President Peter Duffy celebrating Origin and reiterating his belief that all stakeholders win when we come together.

New ISBA President Margaret Jobling shared her thoughts on the exciting role she now assumes while the keynote speech from Anushka Asthana was enlightening. The Deputy Political Editor for ITV News shared her insights on the current landscape affecting advertisers and answered questions from the floor.

Former ISBA President Peter Duffy: "I believe that ISBA's biggest achievement over the last two years has really been the progress with Origin and the need to meet true cross media measurement."

ISBA President Margaret Jobling: “I have big shoes to fill… I can’t wait to get started.”

The possibilities for networking at the President's Lunch are endless and guests were eager to meet each other after lunch to discuss what they had heard and develop new relationships.

Anthony Bradbury, UK Marketing Director, Jaguar Land Rover Ltd: "It's so nice to finally be back in person chatting with fellow marketing colleagues and talk about the cross-industry issues that are common to all advertisers." Jo Allan, CEO, Newsworks: "I thought Anushka was fantastic. I always find it interesting to hear from journalists about what's going on and get an inside scoop."
Kenyatte Nelson, Chief Brand Officer, N Brown Group: "As a first-timer and a new member of ISBA, it's been really important for me to get a view of what the organisation does, how it engages with the advertising industry, and how it plays a pivotal role in making sure that from a legislative standpoint, the advertisers who drive the industry here in the UK are connected and abreast of what's going on in the industry."
