WFA announce Global Marketer of the Year 2019 shortlist

The World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) have announced the six marketers on the shortlist of their Global Marketer of the Year Award 2019 – an award meant to celebrate global and regional marketers who are demonstrating outstanding leadership and impacting positive change.

ISBA are members of the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA), and through our membership, we ensure UK advertisers have a voice on global issues and are able to take global learning and best practice to share with our members.

Anyone in the industry was able to nominate a global or regional leader. Nominations were considered by an expert jury, who were asked to vote for their 6 preferred candidates from the full list.

This shortlist features:

  • Fernando Machado, Chief Marketing Officer, Burger King;
  • Syl Saller, Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer, Diageo;
  • Cheryl Goh, Group VP of Marketing & Founding CMO, Grab;
  • Richa Goswami, Global Head of Digital, J&J;
  • Lubomira Rochet, Chief Digital Officer, L’Oréal;
  • Marc Pritchard, Chief Brand Officer, Procter & Gamble.

The WFA are now inviting marketers to vote for your preferred candidate who best meets the following criteria:

Evolving their organisation to be more people-centric, better able to respond to consumer needs and building happier, more engaged teams internally.

Working smarter with partners, be they agencies or vendors, and ensuring that the whole team is aligned to the same goals.

Delivering inspiring work that genuinely makes a difference, be that cultural, social or for the business.
