ISBA Legal seminar - Using Generative AI in advertising

Generative AI is already being used in advertising, and its use is potentially transformative. Now that some time has passed since the likes of ChatGPT and Midjourney burst on to the scene, ISBA and law firm Lewis Silkin will be taking stock of where these tools have reached, how they may soon be used, and considering the legal and regulatory issues to bear in mind.

Programme

  • How is Generative AI being deployed?
  • Who owns the copy created by Generative AI?
  • What regulation and legal risks are there?
  • How should advertisers and agencies be addressing ownership of, and risks in deploying, AI-generated copy?

Who is it aimed at?
Advertisers, and especially those responsible for their legal and business management

What will you gain by attending?
Members will get up to speed with how Generative AI is being used in advertising, and understanding the upsides and downsides of using it.
