#RewriteTheScript - why we need to talk about diverse casting

This webinar will be run by Creative Equals free and exclusively for ISBA members on a first-come, first-served basis.

As an industry, we are only as good as our poorest piece of creative work. We know from many stories around the industry, our creative agency teams are being asked to remove diverse characters from scripts, particularly based around race or sexuality. Making assumptions around a market and / or target audience can perpetuate outdated - and potentially dangerous - stereotypes. Advertising shapes culture, society and the way groups of people are perceived, so what’s our point of view as an industry? How can we collaborate closer with our agency partners to ensure our advertising is authentically representative across all regions. How can we ensure our marketing teams see diverse markets as a growth opportunity? How can we carve out a new way of working together as an industry, setting a benchmark and charter for best practise inclusion.
