As a valued member of ISBA we understand how important it is for you and your colleagues to keep abreast of the latest media issues and insights.
We have created the Virtual Media Forum to ensure you can still benefit from these discussions and would like to invite you to join our media team who will be sharing the media projects we are undertaking on your behalf and explaining how these will ultimately help you.
Agenda
Shaping the Future Media Landscape – Broadcast Flexibility
There was strong agreement from members that as we emerge from the Covid-19 crisis and start to plan ahead ISBA must take the opportunity to influence the shape of what will be a new media landscape. Following a session with the newly created ISBA Broadcast Taskforce and a working session with the broadcasters, our Media Leaders Group and the TV and Video Steering group, the priority for change for both the long and the short term is TV trading flexibility. We will talk through this journey and where we are to date as well as share our ambitions for a broadcasting trading landscape fit for the future.
Programmatic Supply Chain
Since the launch of the Programmatic Supply Chain Transparency Study in May, ISBA has built a roadmap to address the report’s recommendations for reformation of the programmatic supply chain. This will involve all stakeholders via a new cross-industry taskforce with the objective to bring transparency to the ecosystem. ISBA will update on progress and the ambition for this new collaboration.
Origin
ISBA’s Cross Media Measurement Programme, Origin, is now in phase two, ISBA will talk you through the significant amount of work behind the scenes with the WFA and ANA in the US and the road ahead.
Online Harms: Hate speech and Misinformation.
In light of the growth of disinformation, misinformation, hate speech and associated fake news– which was most recently heightened by the global surge of Black Lives Matter content and comment following the murder of George Floyd, ISBA’s media team is preparing up-to-date guidance and support around content verification that goes beyond key word blocking.
This session is essential for anyone who is responsible for their TV spend and relationship with their media agency.
