ISBA secures Tim Shipman as Annual Lunch guest speaker

Tim Shipman is the special guest speaker at this year’s ISBA Annual Lunch which takes place on Tuesday 2 July.

An author and political editor of The Sunday Times, Shipman has nearly 20 years’ experience as a national newspaper journalist and is renowned for his insight into the political world.

“Unsurprisingly, Brexit is one of his specialist subjects, while his good sense of humour and brilliant tales from Westminster ensure his speech will be both informative and entertaining,” said Phil Smith, director of ISBA. “I cannot think of a better time to hear from the inside track of British politics and hope to see as many of our members as possible at the Lunch.”

Now in its 118th year, ISBA’s Annual Lunch is one of the most prominent and popular events in the industry calendar with more than 400 senior advertisers, agency chiefs and senior media professionals in attendance.

ISBA has chosen a new location for the lunch this year. After hosting the lunch for many successful years at The Dorchester, it was felt that the time was right to move to a new location down the road at the InterContinental London Park Lane, in a great lunchtime venue with plenty of room for networking.

Pre-lunch drinks will be at 12.30pm. Lunch will be served at 1pm.

Open to members and non-members, tickets for the lunch can be ordered from Elvira Bagge at ISBA (ElviraB@isba.org.uk).
