Inclusive advertising - How to ensure it's authentic, relevant and impactful

The ISBA Representation in Advertising tracker gave us insight into what consumers thought about representation in advertising by asking two simple questions, “Do TV adverts reflect modern British society?” and, “Do TV adverts do a good job of representing all groups within British society?”

To go a step further, ISBA’s Inclusion Network has worked with The Diversity Standards Collective (The DSC) since the beginning of the year to identify what are the biggest challenges brands face in achieving authentic diversity, inclusion and representation and asking the communities, what can brands do better.

The result is a report is titled Ask, Listen, Act - Getting out of the echo chamber.

The ISBA Inclusion Group's top brand leaders started by confronting their own barriers to inclusion, then stepped outside the industry to ask diverse consumers what needs to change.

The report is a collaborative exploration of insight, honesty, and action, offering one perspective on how you can move your business forward on inclusion.

We're running an online session to launch the report and go into more details
