We will be joined by representatives from the Advertising Standards Authority to discuss the latest rulings from the regulator on environmental claims in ads – which have helped set out some of what ‘good looks like’ in this area.
We will also be getting an update from AdGreen on the latest features of its carbon calculator, enabling you to drive down emissions in ad production; and we will be scheduling a discussion on sustainability and AI, which I know is an evolving and complex subject that Forum members are interested to explore.
3pm: Welcome from Giffgaff
3.05pm: Miles Lockwood, Director of Complaints & Investigations at the Advertising Standards Authority, will join us to give the latest on the ASA’s Climate Change & the Environment workstream and recent green claims rulings, which should be useful in helping members to understand what ‘good’ looks like when it comes to environmental claims in ads
3.25pm: Jo Fenn, Global Director at AdGreen, will be updating us with the latest on the project to help you measure and drive down carbon emissions in your ad production
3.45pm: Aina Fuller from Responsible Marketing Advisory will be joining us for a discussion on sustainability and AI – a hot topic where brands are just beginning to consider how the advent of the greater use of AI in ad creative, production and delivery will impact on carbon impact and reporting
We hope you can join us – if you have not yet done so, please let us know that you would like to attend, and we will share the Teams invite.
