Panel discussion: Transparency in Production and the competitive bidding process

Panel Discussion: Transparency in Production and the competitive bidding process

As the Industry has evolved over the last few years, so have both the production process and the options for producing content. Pressure on marketing budgets and a reduction in agency fees have given rise to an increased level of in-house agency production but how has this impacted transparency in the bidding process?

Chaired by Claire Randall, the CEO of Claire Randall Consulting, an independent production consultancy, this panel will provide advertisers with the opportunity to hear directly from the production community. The panel will discuss the rationale for the competitive bidding process and what benefits it may bring to the advertiser. The panel will consist of Steve Davies, Chief Executive of the APA (Advertising Producers Association), Philippa Thomas, Co-founder of FLIPT, Tim Katz, Managing Partner at Knucklehead and a client-side advertiser.

What will members gain by attending?

2.    A greater understanding of the competitive bidding process and what it brings to the advertiser.
