New ePrivacy Regulation aims to provide stronger protection for people’s privacy in the digital age.

When it comes into force on the 25th May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation represents the most significant change in data legislation for the past 20 years replacing the existing 1995 Data Protection Directive when the internet was in its mere infancy. 

Whilst this major legislative change represents challenges for organisations to ensure they are compliant, the movement towards privacy by design offers the opportunities for marketers to build trust with their customers and benefit from more accurate data.
